Joanne Togati was born in Brooklyn, NY to a Sicilian father and an Italian American mother. Her upbringing revolved around Opera! Joanne studied classical voice at NYU and later became an emerging artist on the NYC operatic scene. Her formative years were full of language classes in Italian, German and French, theater classes and studies in poetry and literature. Her passions not only revolved around the musical arts, but art and design as well. She was inspired and amazed by the palaces she visited as a child in Sicily, and she always dreamed about palatial estates.
When Joanne left the opera world to explore her other talents, she decided to move to Miami in 2007, the year before the big Miami housing crash. This was actually beneficial to her and she purchased her very first foreclosures in Sunny Isles Beach and had the first taste of designing and remodeling her own homes. She gained experience as an investor, and in 2014 turned a foreclosed home in SW Ranches FL, into a modern midcentury dream house and developed its 1 acre into an organic farm built on permaculture principals. From then on, she knew that sustainable design was in her future. Together with Sustainable Solutions of South Florida, Joanne is now helping families transform their homes into modern day sustainable homesteads.
Joanne currently lives in West Palm Beach, and works with clients in both Miami and the Palm Beaches. Her aesthetic is top notch, and she loves helping her clients in picking out their dream home or land project to be realized into a sustainable homestead. She represents several architectural firms and has extensive connections in building and design.
